I don't believe I have to give an explanation for my absence from last night's city council forum hosted by Bartlesville Radio and the League of Women's Voters but I want everyone to know why I was absent. I stand for transparency! As I have told many of you my priorities are 1) Faith, 2) Family and 3) Country! I hold true to those qualities! For over a year, my wife and I have had a commitment and reservations to be out of state during this time period and I take commitments serious. While I am disappointed I could not attend the forum, I have no regrets as I honored a commitment I had made! It has been a good opportunity to refresh my soul and spirit! May each of you be blessed!
